【中文摘要】         山西北区方言属晋语，包括山西省北中部26个县市的方言。本文以自己田野调查的材料和已发表的材料为基础，对山西北区方言十个代表点的语音进行了比较全面、系统的研究。首先对山西北区方言的语音概况进行了简要描写，然后重点对山西北区方言一些特殊的语音现象，包括连读变调、文白异读、“变读”等进行了较为详细的描写、分析和比较。在山西北区方言语音的历史演变上，主要对山西北区方言韵母的历史演变，包括阴声韵、阳声韵、入声韵和介音的演变，分析其演变的共时类型，力图从共时类型中探寻其历史发展的脉络。文章还将山西北区方言的语音与周边方言语音进行了比较，发现山西北区方言虽然还保留着晋语的最主要的特征——入声，但由于处于晋语中心地带的边缘，不居于晋语的腹地，晋语的特征在普通话的影响、包围下正逐渐被侵蚀。
【英文摘要】         Dialects in the north part of Shanxi belong to Jin Group, which are distributed over 26 counties in the northern and middle part of Shanxi Province. This thesis aims to have a comprehensive and systematic study of phonology in the north part of Shanxi Dialects, based on the materials we collected and the materials published.
