【摘要】         本文着重考察晋语诸方言的儿尾变调与儿化变调,分析这两种变调所遵循的不同音系规则。探讨引起变调的因素。考察结果显示:(一)儿尾变调是由词缀非重读而引发的“儿”语素失本调。失调后的儿缀音节延续前邻词根音节的调尾。(二)儿化变调分重叠儿化和非重叠儿化。前者大都变读轻声或降调;后者舒声字大都保留词根音节的声调,入声字多数变同调型相同或相近的舒声调。(三)儿化是儿尾的语流变体。因此,由构词引发的变调同样受到与连读变调相同的音系规则的制约。
【英文摘要】         This paper investigates tone change induced by er-suffixation, showing that tones behave differently with respect to different types of morpho-phonological processes. First, the morpheme er loses its lexical tone during the process of er-suffixation, acquiring a tone from its preceding syllable. Second, the suffix er merges with its preceding syllable, resulting in either a neutral tone or a default tone. Third, er-merging alternates with er-suffixation due to the fast speech tempo.
